Why Choose Family Therapy?
Family is an important part of all our lives. When you and your family openly communicate so that you can negotiate your priorities and individual preferences, you’ll be better placed to make decisions all day, every day.
When communication is disrupted, family counselling can help. Getting off track doesn’t mean that you’ve failed, only that you need to make some course corrections.

Family Management
The family is the most important structure that we will have in our lives. Building loving, lasting relationships is the most important job you’ll ever have. When you make this your priority, other things seem to fall into place.
The ultimate goal of family life is to create an environment in which human beings love one
another so they can grow and flourish together.
A successful family doesn’t just happen. It results from a passionate commitment to shared values and from family members who invest their love, time, and energy into helping each other.

Please Note
About You UK is a charity and receives no funding from any agencies. As a charitable organisation, we work on a purely donation basis for each session.
To cover our operating costs, we request a minimum donation of:
- Children’s Services – £30.00 per Session
- Family Management – £45.00 per Session
There will be an initial payment when the assessment is placed and then payments will be a week in advance of the appointment.
If you have the ability to Gift Aid, the charity will also benefit from this as we can claim an additional 25% of your total donations. It will not cost you any extra.
